![]() ![]() ![]() Infomationly, I am 78 years old and a retired AT&T employee. I am thoroughly satisfied with Mint, especially since I only pay $15 month instead of over $50. As for any service issues such as no connection, drop calls and so on, I have not had any of those issues. Admittedly, Mint customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't have any of the issues that I've read in the negative reviews here. To solve this issue, AT&T removed my # from the family plan and set it up on a single line account. Turns out that since I was on a family plan with AT&T, my # wouldn't port. The only problem I had was transferring/porting my phone number from AT&T to Mint. I originally did the 7 day trial and then went with the 12 month plan. They have had absolutely no problems even when they were driving from the east coast to Texas. They originally lived on the north east coast and last year moved to Texas. If youre ready to apply for your own Mint. My daughter and her family has two lines on Mint and have had that service for a long time. Youll also be able to seamlessly switch between 5G or 4G LTE data depending on the signal strength in your area. Since I only do talk and text, I decided to try a different service. View Details Online Price: 519 Fast, reliable 5G coverage Mint Mobile offers premium wireless service on the T-Mobile 5G Network. Mint Mobile users data speeds can throttle during peak-usage periods. Mint Mobile coverage is the same as T-Mobiles coverage except with one small caveat. T-Mobile offers solid 5G and 4G LTE networks. I was paying over $50 per month for their unlimited plan which had 4 other phone numbers on it (family members). Mint Mobile uses the major carrier T-Mobiles network to provide 5G and 4G LTE coverage for customers. Only time will tell if the SPAM calls cease but so far so good. I’m trying their 3-month trial plan that provides unlimited talk/text and 3GB of 4G/5G data per month for 15/mo. Very disappointing indeed! UPDATE: I contacted Mint chat and they resolved my issues by giving me a new number. Mint Mobile is an MVNO that piggybacks on the T-Mobile network. but mine still persists in being more a nuisance than a usable phone service. To Mint's credit, they did change that number. My partner had a phone that belonged to a former drug dealer and was getting calls from his parole officer and the rehab centre confirming appointments. ![]() Check out how things are running in your neck of the woods below. Coverage Mint Mobile runs on the T-Mobile 5G network. I don't want to block unidentified calls altogether, but it is insane the number of calls I get from bogus numbers, mostly robocallers. Activation Make sure Mint works for you Simply check a couple things, and you’re good to go. So I am paying for a phone I cannot answer. What gives with these crazy US prices? Anyway, aside from the low-ish price of the Mint plan and all their cutesy advertising, I found the phone number I received gets many scam calls. While Mint was the cheapest it still comes in twice the price of my same service from Vodafone, one of the largest companies in the UK. Having just relocated back from the UK to the USA, I was dumbstruck by the high cost of mobile phone service (MUCH more expensive than the UK!). Great price - but a hiccup or two along the way. ![]()
